These Terms govern your use of the Fatebend app. By installing, opening, or using Fatebend, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Fatebend Is

Fatebend is a voice-first interactive storytelling app. You enter unresolved moments from history, literature, and collective memory and try to intervene through voice conversation with an AI-driven storyteller.
Fatebend 是一款语音优先的互动叙事应用。你进入历史、文学与集体记忆中那些未竟的瞬间，并通过与 AI 驱动的引路人进行语音对话来尝试干预。
The storyteller's responses are generated by AI models in real time. Outputs may contain inaccuracies, imaginative reconstruction, or fictional material. Fatebend is a work of interactive storytelling, not a historical reference, educational authority, therapy tool, medical tool, legal tool, or high-stakes decision system.
引路人的回应由 AI 模型实时生成。其输出可能包含不准确之处、想象性重构或虚构内容。Fatebend 是一部互动叙事作品，而非历史资料、教育权威、治疗工具、医疗工具、法律工具或高风险决策系统。
2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fatebend. Fatebend is not directed to children or teens. If you are under 18, you may not install, open, or use the app.

3. Account and Access

Live voice sessions require Sign in with Apple so that free runs, purchased credits, and deletion requests remain attached to the same account. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple account.
实时语音场次需要使用 Sign in with Apple，以便免费场次、已购积分与删除请求始终关联到同一账户。你有责任保管好对自己 Apple 账户的访问权限。
We may rate-limit, pause, or refuse new live sessions to protect service reliability, enforce credits, prevent abuse, or stay within daily operating budgets.
为保护服务可靠性、执行积分规则、防止滥用或控制在每日运营预算之内，我们可能对新的实时场次进行限流、暂停或拒绝。
4. Credits and In-App Purchases

Fatebend uses consumable credits for live voice runs. Each run consumes credits as shown inside the app. Credits are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's payment, refund, tax, and billing rules.
Fatebend 使用消耗型积分来运行实时语音场次。每次运行将按应用内所示消耗积分。积分通过 Apple 的应用内购买系统购买，并受 Apple 的支付、退款、税务与账单规则约束。
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed outside Fatebend. If a purchase is interrupted or not granted, contact us with the App Store transaction details.
积分不具有现金价值、不可转让，也不可在 Fatebend 之外兑换。如果购买中断或未到账，请携带 App Store 交易详情联系我们。
5. Permitted Use

You may use Fatebend for personal, non-commercial entertainment and reflection. You agree not to:

- Use the app to harass, threaten, exploit, or harm any person or group.
- 使用本应用骚扰、威胁、剥削或伤害任何个人或群体。
- Attempt to extract, scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass the content/runtime pipeline.
- 试图提取、抓取、逆向工程或绕过内容/运行时管线。
- Bypass credits, account requirements, cost caps, rate limits, or App Store purchase rules.
- 绕过积分、账户要求、成本上限、限流，或 App Store 购买规则。
- Use synthesized voices, generated dialogue, artwork, or app output commercially without written permission.
- 未经书面许可，将合成语音、生成对白、美术作品或应用输出用于商业用途。
- Submit unlawful content, including content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or applicable export laws.
- 提交违法内容，包括侵犯知识产权、隐私或违反适用出口法律的内容。
6. AI-Generated Content

Fatebend uses third-party and proprietary AI services. Storyteller responses are generated in real time and may differ across runs. Content inspired by real historical figures, public-domain literature, or collective memory is fictional reconstruction for interactive commentary and reflection.
Fatebend 使用第三方及自有的 AI 服务。引路人的回应实时生成，每次运行可能不同。取材自真实历史人物、公版文学或集体记忆的内容，均为用于互动评述与省思的虚构重构。
Fatebend is not affiliated with any literary estate, film studio, rights holder, historical institution, or living person's estate unless explicitly stated.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of voice input or text you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that input only to operate Fatebend, provide responses, maintain safety, verify purchases, debug failures, and comply with law.
你保留对自己所提供的语音输入或文本的所有权。你授予我们一项有限许可，仅用于运行 Fatebend、提供回应、维护安全、验证购买、调试故障及遵守法律之目的来处理这些输入。
We do not use your individual voice or transcript content to train AI models.
我们不会使用你个人的语音或转写内容来训练 AI 模型。
If you publish an eligible night to the public FatePool, you also grant us permission to display, distribute, moderate, remove, retract, anonymize, and let other users open and report that public node inside Fatebend. Do not publish private facts, personal data, doxxing, harassment, sexual content involving minors, hate, self-harm instructions, illegal instructions, spam, scams, or content you do not have rights to share.
如果你将符合条件的夜晚公开到 FatePool，你同时允许我们在 Fatebend 内展示、分发、审核、移除、撤回、匿名化该公共节点，并允许其他用户开启和举报该节点。不要公开私人事实、个人数据、人肉信息、骚扰、涉及未成年人的性内容、仇恨、自残指导、违法指导、垃圾信息、诈骗，或你无权分享的内容。
8. Intellectual Property

The app software, interface, brand, generated scene assets, prompts, runtime design, and voice experience are owned by Fatebend or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, sell, or redistribute them outside normal app use.
应用软件、界面、品牌、生成的场景素材、提示词、运行时设计及语音体验，均归 Fatebend 或其许可方所有。你不得在正常应用使用之外复制、修改、出售或再分发它们。
9. Service Availability

Fatebend depends on device speech recognition, cloud fallback speech services, language model services, hosting, Apple account, and App Store purchase systems. The app may be temporarily unavailable because of provider outages, network failure, review mode, rate limits, device capability limits, or daily cost caps. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
Fatebend 依赖设备语音识别、云端降级语音服务、语言模型服务、托管、Apple 账户及 App Store 购买系统。由于服务商中断、网络故障、审核模式、限流、设备能力限制或每日成本上限，本应用可能暂时不可用。我们不承诺服务不间断。
10. Safety Disclaimer

The app may explore emotionally heavy themes such as war, illness, death, grief, violence, self-harm, or historical trauma. The characters are fictional and AI-generated and cannot help with a real-world emergency. If a session feels distressing, stop using the app. Fatebend is not therapy, counseling, or crisis support. If you are a real person in distress, please read our Safety Protocol and reach out to people who can help right now: in the United States, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988), or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

11. Termination and Deletion

You may stop using Fatebend at any time by uninstalling the app or deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass payment/access controls, or create legal or operational risk.
你可以随时通过卸载应用或在「设置」中删除账户来停止使用 Fatebend。如果你违反本条款、滥用服务、试图绕过支付/访问控制，或造成法律或运营风险，我们可能暂停或终止你的访问权限。
12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fatebend and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. Our maximum liability is the amount you paid through Fatebend in the 12 months before the claim.
在法律允许的最大范围内，对于因使用本应用而产生的间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害，Fatebend 及其运营方概不负责。我们的最高责任额为你在索赔前 12 个月内通过 Fatebend 支付的金额。
13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the public terms page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, unless your local law requires otherwise.
